"I wrote this book because I felt insistently called to do so by that inner urge that calls us to find our own path through life that I call the true self. That inner voice kept waking me up at night to write, bringing me new observations, and nudging me to create poetry until I could no longer ignore or fight it. I trusted it, even when I couldn’t know where it would lead me. I now share this book, hoping to make the journey inward toward claiming the true self easier for all others."
